This paper presents a comprehensive review of the advances in physiological and biochemical research of plant salt resistance，which includes K⁺／Na^-，ability selective transportion K⁺ and Na⁺ from roots to shoots(S_va⁺．K⁺)，osmotic adjustment，photosynthesis，salt-induced protein，Na⁺／H⁺ antiport，hormone adjustment，membrane lipid peroxidation，ATPase，etc．
